Melio Volume Manager simplifies and centralizes the management of Melio shared volumes and provides advanced storage functionality such as dynamic volume expansion, mirroring and live storage migration to enable and extend the capabilities of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop farms powered by Provisioning Services.

Melio Volume Manager allows administrators to deploy advanced storage configurations (i.e., RAID0, RAID1, RAID10, RAID6) to support business-critical application requirements and works in conjunction with Melio FS to provide flexible, scalable, highly available shared storage for consolidating, protecting and simplifying the management of enterprise workloads.

Used in conjunction with Sanbolic Melio FS, Melio Volume Manager provides scale-out shared storage using external (SAN) storage or internal (server-side) storage, thereby allowing Citrix customers to create flexible, scalable, highly available streaming platforms (PVS) upon which to centrally create, manage, deliver and maintain XenApp and XenDesktop images.
