• High performance Modular Smart Array controller, each with two 1GbE ports per controller
• Single and dual controller models (Active-Active)
• 1 GB transportable cache per controller – battery-free cache backup with super capacitors and compact flash, allowing for long data retention
• Controller configured units: MSA2312i G2 (LFF) or MSA2324i G2 (SFF). Both support mixing of SAS and SATA drive types in the same shelf.
• Supports up to 4 MSA2000 LFF disk enclosures with the MSA2012 chassis (sixty LFF drives) or up to 3 dual I/O MSA70 SFF JBODs for a maximum of 99 SFF disk drives
• Storage capacity with SFF drives: up to 29.7TB with SAS drives or 24.7TB with SATA drives
• Redundant power supplies and fans are standard
