The Cisco UCS B200 M2 Blade Server balances simplicity, performance, and density for production-level virtualization and other mainstream data-center workloads. The server is a half-width, 2-socket blade server with substantial throughput and scalability.

Building on the success of the UCS B200 M1 server, the UCS B200 M2 server extends the capabilities of the Cisco Unified Computing System. It uses Intel's latest Xeon 5600 series multicore processors to deliver even better performance and efficiency.

A Cisco UCS 5108 Blade Server Chassis can house up to 8 UCS B200 M2 Blade Servers, with a maximum of 320 per Unified Computing System.
