What is the iOS 7 password compliance issue and what should I do about it?
Please note that Apple has fixed the iOS 7 issue with password compliance checks in the latest product update - iOS 7.0.3.
Do I need to install the product update?
Yes, the MDM server update is required in order to support the enrollment of new iOS 7 devices.
Do currently enrolled users need to re-enroll in the MDM system?
No, currently enrolled XenMobile MDM users will not need to re-enroll their devices. New iOS 7 devices need to be enrolled by downloading the Citrix Enroll app from the iTunes App Store.
What happens to the Worx enabled (MDX) apps deployed in our environment?
If you have deployed XenMobile Enterprise Edition, certain steps are required to update the Worx enabled apps in your environment, including WorxMail and WorxWeb. Refer to the update instructions for details.
With iOS 7 app security and management features, do I still need to use the Worx App SDK?
Citrix extends Apple iOS 7 app policies with over 60 different MDX policies. Citrix customers in heterogeneous environments with multiple device types to manage and multiple app types to mobilize will benefit from the Worx App SDK with an end-to-end and consistent app security model across iOS and Android. Citrix also provides seamless access to mobile, Windows and SaaS apps, the ability to block access from unauthorized public networks, and data leakage prevention policies like blocking of copy/paste from managed apps. Citrix can also address customer use cases requiring management only at the app level without an MDM agent on the device.
