Customer-managed StorageZones

With StorageZones, IT is able to place data in the organization’s own datacenter to meet unique data sovereignty and compliance requirements. Customer-managed StorageZones also enable optimal performance by giving IT the ability to store data in close proximity to the user and can be easily integrated with the organizations existing infrastructure as they are designed to support any CIFS based network share from any storage vendor. Since storage is a key element of the customer-managed StorageZones, Citrix has joined hands with NetApp- a leading storage solution provider. Citrix and NetApp have tested the compatibility of their solutions together to simplify and accelerate deployments of StorageZones.

Citrix-managed StorageZones

Citrix also offers customers the flexibility to designate their data in Citrix-managed StorageZones available in various worldwide locations. The brilliantly simple and secure cloud based storage offers the benefits of a true SaaS model. All feature and versioning updates, as well as backups are managed by Citrix, making it effortless for IT to run the service.

Build Your Own Solution

With StorageZones, organizations can manage their data in customer-managed StorageZones or choose Citrix-managed StorageZones or both. The option to store data in multiple locations also allows IT to build the most cost-effective and customized solution for their organization. ShareFile Enterprise customers leveraging the Citrix-managed StorageZones are entitled to use customer-managed StorageZones as well.
