Citrix has announced the new Access Gateway VPX virtual appliance based on NetScaler to replace the discontinued Access Gateway VPX.

New! Bronze Maintenance for Access Gateway MPX

Bronze Maintenance is now available.  As a result, the Extended Warranty option will no longer be available.  Customers with active Warranty Agreements can upgrade to any Appliance Maintenance offering, as Warranty renewals will no longer be available effective September 17, 2012.

Current Access Gateway customers have the following migration options:

1. Access Gateway 2010 customers may take advantage of a limited time upgrade promotion to migrate to any NetScaler MPX at $3,000 off SRP;
2. Access Gateway VPX (5.x) customers can migrate to the new Access Gateway VPX (Enterprise Edition) at no additional charge. To execute the migration:
   • Log into MyCitrix
   • Select “Upgrade My Products” from the Toolbox
   • Select “Version Upgrade Options”; then select “Access Gateway VPX” as the product you have and “Access Gateway Enterprise VPX” as the product you would like to receive.  After making those selections, hit “Submit”.
   • Review marketing page and then select “Continue”
     
   • Tool will display all eligible licenses.  You have the opportunity to pick and choose which licenses to upgrade to the Access Gateway Enterprise VPX.  When complete, select “Continue”.
     
   • Review the legal language and the licenses that you have selected to upgrade.  Then select “Accept”.
   • Confirmation page is then displayed. You will also receive an e-mail confirmation that the process is completed.
