The two-column B format is accommodating, flexible and attractive. It allows for wide main-column presentation and navigation in the left column. It allows for longer text blocks, and presentation of adequately sized images.

By using body copy classes in the primary column contrasted with navigation classes in the left navigation column, even more editorial emphasis is focused on the wider column.

Use two-column B when you have in-page section navigation to accommodate on the left. If you don't have section nav, use two-column A and gain the use of the right, supplemental content rail.
