The three-column top-level format is accommodating, flexible and attractive. It allows for wide main-column presentation and a supplemental content presentation in the left and right columns. This a symmetrical 2+8+2 column format.

The majority of top-level pages should be based on the three-column top-level format. It allows for easy readability of longer text blocks, presentation of adequately sized images and helpful, easy-to-locate supplemental content like videos, downloads, news, events and more.
