Use this template when you have content that demands the maximum width afforded by the SVGA interface. The single-column format permits the use of large imagery, heavy text or complex data presentations.

A downside of a design like this is that is does little to expose the reader to additional content of interest. Nor does it allow for the presentation of supplemental, supporting content such as downloads, videos or related links. It's also difficult for users to read across lines this wide.

In summary, try to use this template only when absolutely necessary. The upside of the wide content column is the only reason this template should appear in your property.
