SANTA CLARA, Calif. – November 7, 2012 – Citrix today announced availability of two new NetScaler® MPX™ hardware appliances that will offer smaller enterprises the industry’s most scalable solution to deliver applications, desktops and data with the best performance and highest availability. Now with Citrix TriScale™ technology, NetScaler MPX platforms make it easy for any size business to scale their network with the same technology powering the world’s largest public clouds. Specifically, the “Scale Up” functionality of TriScale technology provides customer elasticity with five times faster performance on-demand with simple NetScaler Pay-As-You-Grow software-based licensing. This eliminates costly over provisioning and avoids regular ‘forklift’ appliance upgrades. These new MPX models provide up to one gigabit/second (Gbps) of application-layer performance, yet are affordable for cost-sensitive deployments. Unlike alternative offerings, every NetScaler appliance supports the full breadth of application delivery controller (ADC) functionality.
