Citrix GoToMeeting Wins SIIA CODiE Award for Best On-Demand Mobile Application |
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Citrix today announced that the company has won the Software & Information Industry Association’s (SIIA) 2012 CODiE Award for its popular Citrix GoToMeeting mobile apps for iPad, iPhone and Android. Each year, SIIA, the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries, recognizes the “stand out” technology and services that are changing the way business and people work. This Citrix award win is an especially prestigious honor as each CODiE finalist is judged by a panel of technologist and industry luminaries and SIIA members-company peers, with a voting process determining winners from among the finalists. Available as a free app on the iPad, iPhone and Android, GoToMeeting is enabling people to easily join online meetings from any location they take their mobile devices. Its HDFaces group video conferencing capability is also now available on the iPad, combining high definition audio, web and video conferencing into a seamlessly integrated experience for mobile workstyles. “We’re honored to be recognized by our peers for the work we are doing to deliver elegantly simple collaboration via GoToMeeting,” said Bernardo de Albergaria, VP and GM of Collaboration, Citrix. “The world of work is no longer confined to the office and GoToMeeting is making collaboration ‘on the go’ possible for everyone, transforming the way people work and literally how work gets done.” Citrix Unveils Mobile Enterprise Strategy for its Award-Winning ProductsToday’s CODiE award announcement comes a day after Citrix unveiled its mobile enterprise strategy.
