Citrix Ready Testing and Tools

To become part of the Citrix Ready community, Citrix offers a set of tools to help with the technical verification requirements.

Citrix Ready Verification Testing Kits

These kits are designed to guide a partner through the level of testing must be performed with their product to meet the requirements of the Citrix Ready program. They are designed for use in the partners test lab or for use with the Citrix Ready Virtual Lab described below. The test kits can be accessed from the MyCitrix website. Authentication to MyCitrix is required and new users can register at the site. To access the test kits once authenticated to MyCitrix, click on the Citrix Ready tab on the left side of the page and then the Citrix Ready Verification Test Kits link. The test kits are split into groups:

  • Verification Test Kits & Forms for Citrix Access Essentials
  • Verification Test Kits & Forms for Citrix NetScaler
  • Verification Test Kits & Forms for Citrix Password Manager
  • Verification Test Kits & Forms for Citrix Provisioning Server
  • Verification Test Kits & Forms for Citrix XenApp
  • Verification Test Kits & Forms for Citrix XenServer
  • Standard Verification Kit
Partner product centric test kits are then available for different product categories within the above groups. The Standard Verification Kit is used for any partner product that does not have an available test kit that matches the partner product category

Citrix Ready Virtual Lab

Citrix Ready Virtual Lab is an online lab environment that can be utilized by partners that do not have access to their own Citrix lab environment. Citrix Ready Virtual Lab provides all of the systems necessary to perform ISV related test verification in conjunction with the ISV test kits listed above. The lab environments can be scheduled for use by Citrix ecosystem partners. Note that the labs do have a set configuration, and may not be sufficient for larger ISV application testing. Please refer to the CitrixReadyVirtualLab portion of this site for lab specifications to determine if a Citrix Ready Virtual Lab meets the requirements for your application. All Citrix Alliance partners can register online at http://citrixreadyvirtuallab.com for use of the lab. Non Alliance partners may also request use of the lab by emailing CitrixReady@citrix.com for consideration. Once the partner has registered for use of the Citrix Ready Virtual Lab, they will be emailed a set of credentials for accessing the lab, and the URL for scheduling and use of the actual lab environments.
