The newest Citrix 32-bit client for DOS was developed to allow incorporation of features that may exceed the memory requirements permitted by DOS. The 32-bit version consumes a great deal less conventional memory space by using a DOS protected mode. This new version requires the use of DOS v4.0 or greater and runs on systems with a 386 or higher processor.

Citrix will apply any potential feature enhancements to the 32-bit DOS client only. We will continue to make the 16-bit DOS client available for users of older 286-based devices. Support for the older 16-bit version may be limited.
