Citrix Receiver can now be used on Windows Mobile version 6.5 and supports all gestures supported by Windows Mobile 6.5.
The Citrix Settings icon has been removed from the start screen, and the ICA client is disabled by default. Users access published applications through a preferred browser.
Once a session is launched to a published application, users will experience the new set of features, which includes dynamically changing session size, improved zoom functionality and extended keyboard for special keys.
While any session is running, upgrading the receiver client fails. Close all sessions (or restart device) and then install Citrix Receiver.
Upgrading from Client Version 10.6 does not remove the following files and folders: ICA Client and Client UI Setting. Uninstall previous versions (10.6) before installing Client Version 11.5.
Using menu items before complete launch of the application may cause application hang or session corruption. Use menu items only after the application is completely launched, or close the application and re-launch it again.
Reconnect/Disconnect buttons appearing in Web Interface (which are available after making Mobile Browser appear as Desktop Browser) do not work. As a workaround, in the application list, click on the application you want to launch. This will reconnect to existing session.
Citrix Receiver cannot be activated through task manager or running programs list if Citrix Receiver is minimized through hard buttons (e.g. Windows key) and then sliding out the hard keyboard. This issue happens only after sliding out hard keyboard. To work around this issue, instead of using hard buttons, use the minimize option from Citrix Receiver.
