Simon Hayes is vice president of strategic alliances at Citrix and is responsible for global business development and technology partnerships that align with the Citrix strategy for cloud computing, networking and virtualization.
Prior to Citrix, Hayes was at Cisco, where he spent nearly 14 years leading various aspects of the company’s global partnership efforts. He has a proven track record for contributing to the bottom line, joining Cisco’s alliance team when the company was generating $3 billion in annual revenue and helping it grow to be the $40-billion giant it is today. Hayes pioneered Cisco’s unique program for solution co-development with alliance partners, as well as an innovative financial measurement model to track progress and revenue generated from partner solutions and programs. Prior to Cisco, Hayes was at HP, where he held a variety of sales and system integrator leadership roles, and as he did at Cisco, helped drive its growth from a mid-sized company to a global leader.
Hayes studied electrical engineering at King’s College, University of London, and is a graduate of Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth.
