David Henshall is executive vice president of operations and chief financial officer of Citrix.
Henshall joined Citrix in 2003 and oversees the company’s worldwide finance and operations organizations, including accounting, strategic development (M&A), financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, and investor relations. He also leads the IT, operations, supply chain, and real estate teams at Citrix.
Over the last 10 years, Henshall has focused on building a balanced portfolio of growth investments, maintaining a scalable operational infrastructure and ensuring disciplined financial decision-making. Henshall is committed to maximizing long-term value for all stake-holders, and leading the open communications with the investment community that Citrix is known for.
With more than 20 years of financial management experience in the technology sector, Henshall has worked at several of the industry’s leading companies. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer of Rational Software Corporation, a software company acquired by IBM Corporation in 2003. He holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Arizona.
Henshall is acting CEO while Mark Templeton is on a temporary leave of absence.
