Al Monserrat is responsible for the global sales, services, and partner organizations at Citrix. Collectively, his team delivers our market-leading cloud and networking solutions to support the mobile workstyle objectives of more than 260,000 customers worldwide.
Since joining Citrix in 2000, Monserrat has led the go-to-market sales strategy and integration of notable acquisitions including NetScaler, XenSource, Cloud.com, ByteMobile and Zenprise, which have become strategic components of the Citrix vision. He is also responsible for market development sales and route to market strategy for new products and services.
Prior to global responsibility of a $2.6 billion business, Monserrat served as vice president of North American sales at Citrix, where in three years time he more than doubled sales revenue.
Over the last 20 years, Monserrat has gained extensive multinational experience in technology sales, consulting and management across a breadth of industries, including software, logistics, telecommunications and retail. Prior leadership roles include Innovex Group, an IT consulting firm acquired by Citrix in 2000, and Andersen Consulting, now Accenture.
Monserrat holds a master’s degree in business from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Miami.
