Al Monserrat is senior vice president of Sales Strategy at Citrix. Since joining the company in 2000, Monserrat has played a key role in delivering market-leading virtualization, mobility management, networking and cloud services to more than 330,000 customer organizations worldwide, and he most recently headed the global sales and services organization. During his seven years in that position, he re-engineered the sales programs, greatly strengthened the Citrix go-to-market model and grew revenues by almost 90 percent.
Monserrat has extensive multinational experience in technology sales, consulting and management across a breadth of industries, including software, logistics, telecommunications and retail. Prior to Citrix, he has held leadership positions at Innovex Group, an IT consulting firm acquired by Citrix in 2000, and Andersen Consulting, now Accenture.
Monserrat holds a master’s degree in business from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Miami.
