How Citrix EasyCall works
Citrix EasyCall leverages the Citrix infrastructure to integrate communications in any application that is virtualized, streamed, Web-based or even installed.
The EasyCall Plug-in
First, each person sets up his or her phone numbers (mobile, office, home) in the EasyCall Plug-in.
Once the phone numbers are set, the person simply hovers over any phone number. The phonebar will fade-in and the person simply clicks on the green phone button to initiate the call.

When the person clicks on the green phone button, the EasyCall Plug-in tells the Gateway to signal the PBX to place a call to the persons phone number selected in the EasyCall Agent. Once the person acknowledges the call, the PBX dials the destination phone number. Because all of these calls are initiated by the corporate PBX, the calls are made using the companys negotiated phone rates.
