NetScaler VPX converges virtualization and networking. NetScaler VPX makes functionality typically only offered on specialized, high-end network devices available as a virtual appliance that can be easily and dynamically deployed on a single server or across entire cloud datacenters. The simplicity and flexibility of NetScaler VPX make it easy and cost effective to fully optimize every Web application and more effectively integrate networking services with application delivery. - HA for XenApp - NetScaler VPX makes ensuring high availability and disaster recovery for XenApp even simpler with integrated local and global server load balancing and secure remote access. Indeed, if a XenApp deployment is already virtualized, then adding NetScaler VPX is as simple as adding another VM to the deployment. Smaller XenApp and XenDesktop deployments can now benefit from the same integrated secure remote access, global server load balancing and load balancing for Web Interface and XML broker that NetScaler appliances provide, and run it using the same server infrastructure used to run XenApp itself. 1. Requires 4GB RAM. Max TCP connections with 1GB RAM is 1.2 million.
2. Using 3DES. Max concurrent users using RC4 is 1,000.
3. Minimum requirements to run the hypervisor and a single NetScaler VPX VM.
4. Recommend minumum of 1 core/1GB RAM for hypervisor and 1 core/1GB RAM per NetScaler VPX VM.
5. Minumum incremental requirements for each additional NetScaler VPX VM.
