Password Manager Editions Comparison
The new Citrix Password Manager Product Line now Consists of Three Product Editions:
Citrix Password Manager 4.6 Advanced Edition - with the Advanced Edition, users have full single sign-on capability from all access scenarios including over the LAN, working in a disconnected state, via a VPN connection, or from a home PC, kiosk, or any Internet connection. Unique user credentials are retained for all applications, XenApp and desktop applications are supported.
Citrix Password Manager 4.6 Enterprise Edition - contains all the features of the Advanced Edition while adding Hot Desktop fast user switching, which enables users to effectively share workstations in public areas, such as a nursing station or a manufacturing plant floor, and affords individual users greater onsite mobility as they move between workstations. Organizations have the flexibility to deploy the ideal strong authentication device for all access scenarios - users may access with a proximity badge at work and a token remotely and will not experience a delay when switching between devices. Advanced certificate-based smart card support is provided and users may leverage their single sign-on credentials across their multiple Windows accounts through account association.
Citrix Password Manager 4.6 for Citrix XenApp - is the industry-leading Enterprise Single Sign-on (SSO) solution for Presentation Server and Terminal Services environments. It centralizes password management, password policies and application authentication in the hands of IT. True clientless SSO can be achieved for applications deployed on Presentation Server. Users may now reset their primary Windows password or unlock their account remotely through Web Interface for Citrix XenApp, Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS), Kerberos, and federated environment support enable federation to any type of application, not just Web apps, delivered by XenApp and accessed through Web Interface.
