Q     What is the XenApp Upgrade Calculator?

A     The XenApp Upgrade Calculator is designed to help XenApp customers compare the suggested retail price (SRP) cost of renewing their Subscription Advantage membership and applying that budget to the cost of a XenApp edition upgrade. Since the first year of Subscription Advantage is included in all XenApp edition upgrades, customers frequently find greater value in an edition upgrade.
Q     Which products are supported by the XenApp Upgrade Calculator?

A     XenApp is the only product currently supported by the XenApp Upgrade Calculator. If you would like to request support for other products, please complete this feedback form.
Q     Is the XenApp Upgrade Calculator a quoting tool?

A     The costs provided by the XenApp Upgrade Calculator are to be used for budgetary purposes, providing a reasonably accurate cost. Please contact your Citrix Solution Advisor to receive a formal quote.
Q     What should I do with the results from the calculator?

A     Citrix encourages you to use the results provided by the XenApp Upgrade Calculator to evaluate the benefits and cost-effectiveness of upgrading your XenApp edition. These results may also be used for internal review at your organization and for review with your Citrix Solution Advisor.
Q     Why should I upgrade my XenApp edition?

A     Citrix XenApp is the only end-to-end Windows application delivery system available today. By using XenApp Platinum edition, there is no lower-cost way to deliver all of your Windows applications.
Q     What happens to my Subscription Advantage membership on the licenses being upgraded?

A     After an edition upgrade, the Subscription Advantage on the previous edition is no longer needed.  All Subscription Advantage benefit will be delivered for the upgraded edition.
Q     What’s Citrix’s committment and the customer commitment for the SLA’s?

A     Citrix commitment
  • ASAP/High - Citrix will provide 24x7 support towards resolution
  • Medium - Citrix resources working SR on business hours basis only
  • Low - Citrix resources working SR on business hours basis only

Customer commitment

  • ASAP/High - Customer’s resources working issue on a 24x7 basis with Citrix Support.  Change window can be scheduled within 24-48 hours notice
  • Medium - Customer’s resources working SR on business hours basis only
  • Low - Customer’s resources working SR on business hours basis, customer to monitor and respond as needed, change window will be scheduled at next earliest convenience
